The Boomer Technology Circles™ Summit

August 16-18, 2015

Westin Crown Center
Kansas City, MO

Connect with the brightest and most influential people in accounting!

Being successful and prepared for the future is highly dependent on relationships. Our annual BTC Summit is a unique opportunity to meet and build relationships from some of the most forward thinking people in our profession.

Community meetings

A core principle for all of our communities is that professionals who share best practices and lessons learned are best-prepared for the future and benefit the most from the rapid changes in business, especially those driven by technology. Our BTC Summit allows time for each of our Boomer Technology Circles™ to meet individually while also providing special tracks for Emerging Leaders and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Alumni.

Insight

A primary reason for bringing everyone together at the same time is to get the latest updates on trends, growth strategies and opportunities that impact our profession.

Gary Boomer, Sandra Wiley and Jim Boomer will provide insights from our Boomer communities. Keynote presenters include Dr. Michael Wesch, a cultural anthropologist dubbed "The Explainer" by Wired magazine, and Adelaide Ness, Executive Vice President of The Rainmaker Companies. Also, enjoy the insightful comedy of "Recovering CPA" John Garrett, and learn about projects and people that are making a special impact as we honor our 2015 Bridging the Gap award winners.

Solutions

More than 30 of the biggest and brightest solution providers will exhibit throughout the Summit. Learn about relevant and timely topics from Wolters Kluwer - CCH, Thomson Reuters, Intuit and Xero at our pre-session Sponsor Showcase and meet and learn about our other partners and exhibitors at social events, breaks and other networking opportunities.

Networking

Take advantage of multiple opportunities to network with peers and solution providers throughout the Summit. Our partners help to provide social opportunities and a fantastic exhibit space that’s great for additional learning, informal meetings, and/or just taking a refreshment break. Our optional post-conference roundtable session allows for continued discussions on topics to which you may have just been exposed.

Who Should Attend?

Any Firm Management professional, IT professional, Lean Six Sigma firm leader or Green Belt Alumni, or Emerging Leader who is looking to be re-inspired and re-energized with innovative wisdom for your firm's future! Please note that this event is open to non-Boomer Technology Circles™ members and that pre and post sessions require separate registration.
